very cool u went to cali elaine! im jealous. that sounds so fun. so this past weekend i went to waco and got to see jen, kourt, mel, grace, kyle, and many more. it was so fun. and just like old times i didnt go to the game! haha i hate going to football games unless i have a beer in hand. but i went to crickets and kourt had a party which was super fun. so last friday i had an interview with an eye doctor place in kingwood and it went sooo well finally. they were so complimentary of my lack of experience haha and were thrilled about how "qualified" i was. they even said "we can see you being a leader!" so hopefully i get it. if i don't i know it is because they don't know how long i will want to be here in kingwood.
also i shadowed a nurse practitioner yesterday which was really cool. he works at memorial hermann in the medical center as a gi specialist. it was sad, but also really cool to see all the patients and diagnoses. but it was interesting because aparently nurse practitioners are the same as PAs as far as duties go. which is cool so i am going to talk to a nursing advisor and see if i have all the prereqs for a fast track program which is a year and then go to grad school after to get a nurse practitioner degree. that would be sweet then i wouldnt have to wati another year if i dont get into pa school this year.
still sad about me and the beaux breaking up. we miss eachother, but weren't willing to do the distance thing anymore.
