Hey ladies,

Well i know ive been bad lately.. but im getting a grip. I am almost finished with my first week as a teacher and I must say that I now have a new respect for teachers. It is hard work! lol! I am totally loving it along with my brand new car!!! I just miss my besties alot! life has been pretty dragging lately but I feel like it is picking up. I am going to the 254 tom and I finally get to see jen and melanie and annie! :) then next weeknd im going hunting in amarillo and then the following weekend Im going to chicago. I am hopefully starting pi phi alum club with elaine :) I think im also going to teach a sunday school class at church. Being a grown up is a rough tranistion but I think once i get used to it i will like it. I got my first real pay check today it was great there were commas in my bank account.. for about five seconds then all the bills came out and it was back to my normal account! But hopefully by the end of this year all the credit cards will be gone and Ill have money in savings :) any ways.. lets plan a girls weekend pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaassssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeee.... even if its just a friday night :) let me know your thoughts I have to go though bc its 1030 way past my bed time on a school night hahaha! love yall..

sorry guys. well i changed my mind about class and decided not to move to dtown this weekend. it was too much too fast and freaked me out. i had a job interview at childrens on friday tho so if i get the job and its decent pay then i will move. this way it gives me more time though. if i don't get it, i will stay at home and get a part time job while volunteering/shadowing.

Yo from the COOOOO!

Hey everyone! I'm back in Waco and sadly missed it so much. I can't wait for grad school to start and I'm loving work. It's not bad and the coach was SO impressed with how I organized everything..he told me I needed time off! It's not the same without everyone here. I'm having one of my common parties this weekend and I want everyone to come! It's gonna be super fun!!! I start school this coming Monday!!!!! I also have an addition to my crazy cat family. Her name is Sasha, but I called her Sausage and renamed her Raja. My cousin Megan who just got married got pregnant on her honeymoon. (YAY!) You can't clean a litterbox when you're preggers and her husband hates the cat, so I took her so she wouldn't end up in the pound. They are slowly getting to love each other. I also have a roommate and love it! It's one of my BFFs from high school who I cheered with. We are both working for the track team and are in the grad program for Athletic Training. It's great. Welllll my Dad has pneumonia. It's awful. He's been pretty much sleeping for two weeks and not working, which is SO weird for my dad. His birthday was Monday and he's finally getting back into half days at work. Everyone pray for him! I can't wait for all this to happen! Yay!!!

ok so kath i loved the blog. and elaine urs was awesome as well. sorry its been awhile. lets see last weekend i got to go to austin and see whitney for her birthday and then go to lake travis with stephen and his friends. it was so fun! well as of today i finally know whats up with the next few months or year of my life. i am going to register for classes at ut d tomorrow and class starts thursday but ill juts be late and go starting monday because i have an interview friday at childrens hospital. so if i get the job it is a 3-11 shift and i wouldnt be able to take class. in other words, ill start class and if i get the job ill quit class and take the job cuz hey money is much better than school. but i dont know. im still debating what i should do. suggestions?

so this weekend that means ill be leaving houston and moving to dallas. how weird is that. and i need to find an apartment this weekend which will be stressful and my parents won't get off my back about it. soooooooo if anyone knows of some semi nice apartments ANYWHERE in dallas that has washer/dryer etc stuff like that, please let me know.

thats about all that is going on in my life.

oh except i dyed my hair! its dark brown now and i LOVE it. u can kinda tell in the pictures from my sister's graduation.

Hey girls! This blog is gunna have to be a quick one but I just wanted to say hi and let you know how much I miss all of you! Just the other day, I got a phone call from Katy Evans and it made me remember (as if i could ever forget!) how incredible our senior year was! When I moved out of the Pink Door I left a LONG note on their fridge of all the things I loved about my senior year and I encouraged them all to live it up the way we did! I ended the note by passing on our signature quote by Tom Petty. I know ya'll haven't forgotten it but I think it needs a place in the blog so here we go.

You have four years to be irresponsible here. Relax. Work is for people with jobs. You'll never remember class time, but you'll remember time you wasted hanging out with your friends. So, stay out late. Go out on a Tuesday with your friends when you have a paper due Wednesday. Spend money you don't have. Drink 'til sunrise. The work never ends, but college does.

Anyways, Katy called me the other day to tell me how much she has been thinking about all of us and the way we totally took advantage of senior year. The cutest part of the convo was when she was like "Ok Kathleen. I'm gunna try and live it up the way yall did. But I dont know if I can! Ya'll really did it all!!" I just thought it was sooo sweet and soooo true! Last year will forever be my favorite time in college and its all thanks to you girls :)

I miss ya'll!

hey lovlies!!

hey sweet girls! i'm the first one to blog in august, we are all slacking hahahaha. any ways well some exciting news. Jared finally has a job, well atleast till december, hes going to be an intern for TOMS!!! how awesome is that? he is one of 9 that got picked for this fall out of a bazillion applicants. i had to brag a little, plus can't beat a discount on toms either -- so thats pretty exciting. oh and the person he was in contact with about it was Caroline Marshall, 2007 baylor grad PLUS she was a PI PHI!! ohh dont you just love connections haha. down side my honey bunches will be in california for the rest of the year. sad sad.

i just got back from california, visitng him for his bday and we did all sorts of fun stuff, piano bar, jet skiing in the bay, beach day, zoo, shopping, and my favorite thing of the whole trip we saw WICKED!!! Now i know why megs and di are obsessed :) it was sooo cute, i'm in love with it.

on a more boring note, i'm still job hunting, and pretty much willing to take anything at this point. pathetic. i was looking into working in the office at schools but havent heard back so i just today looked at doing substitute teaching, keller isd pays 85$ a day for ppl with bachelors degrees, and that'd be bad ass hours and could still do night classes or something?! i dunno. blah. any money would be great at this point. hey so does any one else find it really weird that we aren't buying school supplies and moving into waco this week and partying the week before school...? this is lame.
